This is an English translation of our cookie policy, for your convenience. The Romanian version (Politica de cookie-uri) is the reference: if the two ever differ, the Romanian version applies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. They help the website remember certain things, for example your cookie choice. We also use the browser’s storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and treat it the same way.
Necessary cookies keep the website running. We save preference cookies only when you choose something. We use analytics cookies only if you accept.
2. Which cookies we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cb_consent | Cuibul Bucovinei | Remembers whether you pressed “Accept” or “Decline” for the analytics cookies. It is kept in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). | Necessary | 6 months |
| cb_consent_at | Cuibul Bucovinei | Remembers the date of your choice, so that we ask for your consent again after 6 months. It is kept in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). | Necessary | 6 months |
| cb-pl | Cuibul Bucovinei | Remembers that the loading screen has already appeared during this visit, so that you don’t see it again on every page. It is kept in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage). | Necessary | Until you close the tab |
| cb-wa-msg | Cuibul Bucovinei | Remembers that you closed the message bubble next to the WhatsApp button, so that it doesn’t appear again. It is kept in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). | Preferences | Until you delete it from your browser |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Tells visitors apart, so that we can count visits without knowing who you are. It is saved only after you press “Accept”. | Analytics | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics 4 | Remembers the visit in progress: when it started and what number visit it is. It is saved only after you press “Accept”. | Analytics | 2 years |
Google Maps. The map only loads when you open it. Only then can Google set its own cookies, and only then does it receive your IP address, under Google’s rules.
3. How to give or withdraw your consent
On your first visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen. Press “Accept” to turn Google Analytics on, or “Decline” to keep it off. The website and the booking form work the same, whatever you choose.
You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings”, in the footer of the page. After 6 months we ask for your consent again.
4. How to block them in your browser
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: on a Mac, Settings → Privacy. On an iPhone, Settings → Safari.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
If you block all cookies, the website still works, but it no longer remembers your choices.
5. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update the table and the date at the top.
